Taste wines from Alsace and / or Burgundy at your home and discuss live on Zoom

• Online guided tastings will be offered to people in the Netherlands and the USA (to start with) live using "Zoom" (free cloud software)
• Each event takes about 2 hours and is designed for a maximum of 18 people in a (private) group.
• In a live tasting event all participants will taste and discuss the same wines
• Winemakers will participate and comment on the wines you bought and will be tasting, (pre-recorded or live)​​

• Information on the use of Zoom. (pdf)
• General information about wine tasting (pdf)
• General information about the region and the wines from that region (pdf)
• Specific information on the 6 different wines we will taste and the wineries where the wines come from (pdf)
• A tasting notes form (pdf) to be printed out and used for the session
• By mail (Netherlands)  or UPS/ FedEx (USA) - tasting wines (box(es) of 6 wines - 1 box per 6 participants)
• A gift voucher to be used on a "real" JoliSoleil wine tour in Alsace or Burgundy (will not expire)​

Needed on your location:

• 3 wine glasses per person

Wine shipping costs to the USA in 2020 - an increase of "only" Euro 1,45 per bottle

For wine shippings to the USA in 2020 the break even point still lies at about 18 bottles or more, like in 2018 and 2019. That is: the price per bottle shipped at 18+ bottles will be Euro 11,12 per bottle in 2020. 

This means a rise of "only" Euro 1,45 per botle compared to 2019, when it was Euro 9,67. 
The insurance costs stay at 2,5 % over the value with a minimum of Euro 25,=. 

Last but not least: as always, you do NOT pay the french TVA tax (20%) over the buying price of the bottle(s) here in France which of course sponsors your net shipping costs as always !.

So per bottle you would pay the same as you would pay at the winemaker in France or Italy?

The best wines from for example Alsace shipped to the USA

Americans can now (re-)order wines from Alsace, Burgundy and Tuscany from their home. We take care of all duties and custom papers. The wines will be delivered by UPS or FedEx on your doorstep. For some wines this is the ONLY way to get them in the USA as they might not be imported in your country.

Is it not expensive?

Shipping wines from France to the USA has become easy and affordable now!
You can order the selected wines in our Store in boxes of 6. Of course there are shipping costs but as the wines are not consumed in France or Italy, you do NOT pay the 20% French (TVA) or Italian taxes on the bottle. Keeping this tax advantage in mind: the shipping price for 6 bottles already drops to about Euro 16,= per bottle instead of +/- Euro 21,= (including all insurances). BUT if you ship a total of 5 boxes (30 bottles) or more OF ANY wine/winery in this shop, your net shipping costs drop to +/- Euro 5,= (or less) per bottle. So per bottle you pay about the same as you would pay at the winemaker in France or Italy: your tax advantage pays for the shipping!

People touring with us often have the problem that they cannot take many wines home when they have to fly. That is why JoliSoleil Winetours started to provide a wine shipping service for tour clients. We can ship the wines people have bought on a tour to many countries in the world.

In 2016 we went one step further for our American customers. We started the JoliSoleil USA Wine Club.You can now (re-)order wines from Alsace, Burgundy and Tuscany from your home, to your home.
